Realtors Updated on Handling Rentals – Central Properties Mentors

Central Properties was pleased to host a training for real estate professionals on June 27th 2013 on the topic of work with landlords and compliance with DC’s housing laws. Presenter Jon Windle, Esq., an experienced attorney in Landlord & Tenant Court, explained that it is important to set up a thorough and fair tenant screening process before securing tenants for a property. Windle also stressed the importance of having a lease reviewed by an attorney before using the document to make sure the lease clauses will stand up in court.
