Ashlea Perkins embodies the meaning of service in her community and as an agent at Central Properties. At age 10, Ashlea’s mother brought her first house, which sparked her interest in real estate. To Ashlea, a home is a reflection of who you are, so it should be a sacred place of peace, warmth, and security. A native Washingtonian, Ashlea is a graduate of Bowie State, where she received a B.S. in Public Relations. Prior to her career in real estate, Ashlea owned a bridal and formal wear consignment shop in Atlanta. Ashlea says D.C. is a small welcoming community with a big city pace, making it a unique area to live. She is in the know about trends in the D.C. market, and constantly reads articles and networks with others to stay abreast of key housing and neighborhood developments. Ashlea is heavily involved in ministry at her church and enjoys reading, listening to music, and watching movies in her spare time.
