Ellen graduated from New York University with a BA in Political Science/History, she completed her graduate studies at Columbia University and holds an MAT in History. But as life has a way, it lead her down multiple business and career paths. All through her multiple incarnations in Advertising/PR, Hospital and Medical Administration and Counseling, her fascination with Real Estate, Architecture and people persisted. Eventually this lead to a Real Estate Development Company and then to what for 20 years has been a full time career in Real Estate sales and development. 

This unique combination of experiences, having bought and sold personal and investment properties, having had her own development company and having represented many other developers during their purchasing, construction and marketing process gives Ellen an invaluable feel for the process, the market and for individual properties. Her ability to match properties to people is uncanny.

Besides Real Estate and her family, Ellen’s other consuming interests are Politics, Human and Animal Rights and Film, if you don’t get an immediate response from her, she’s probably at the movies! She is currently serving her 3rd term on the DCAR (District of Columbia Association of Realtors) Public Policy Committee which allows her input and insight into regulations and actions within the governing bodies of the District that affect her clients and the entire DC Metro community.
